Phosphates + Molybdate - Reactive Silicates, Fluorides
Admorbable using Kold Ster-il® Optional Filtration Medium

Poly-Bio-Marine, Inc.® has developed a new filter medium (granular) which can be added to the existing Kold Ser-il® 3 Stage System removing both phosphates & silicates from tapwater and well water. This medium is specially prepared for single pass filtration of drinking water's phosphates, silicates and fluorides. Due to the special preactivation process required to prepare this filter medium for single pass filtration it must be used in a Kold Ster-il® System only as a first or second stage filter media only. This filter Medium passes ANSI/NSF Standards for usage on drinking water. It is completely nontoxic and particulate-free when used in the Kold Ster-il®. Warning: medium cannot be used directly on aquariums containing live specimens. This medium is specially prepared for single pass drinking water filtration as contained in our U.S. Patented Kold Ster-il® System. This medium is not an ion-exchange resin and does not remove calcium or magnesium cations. Slight reductions of alkalinity may be noted as hydroxyl and bicarbonate anions are sorbed along with the desired phosphates and silicates. However, this medium cannot produce hardwater without alkalinity, as do certain types of ion-exchange filtration processes.
