Detoxifying the contaminated system

Closed marine systems can temporarily build up Nitrogen cycle waste products and cause serious stress and eventual death of fish and invertebrates. Contaminants produced by the biological filter must be eliminated promptly for the proper functioning of the aquarium.
The POLY-FILTER can be used continuously as an important means for removing contaminants and as an aid for protecting the functionality of the biological filter. Although the POLY-FILTER is able to remove toxic overloads from the system, the Aquarist must not rely completely on the POLY-FILTER for permanent corrections of toxic conditions. The Aquarist must also correct those conditions that caused the biological filter to malfunction. In that way the POLY-FILTER will be long lasting despite occasional contamination in the system.
